Queen City Music Studio offers In-Studio and In-House Viola Lessons in Cincinnati area for students of any age, skill level and musical interests. We offer private (one-on-one with the teacher) and Group Viola Lessons. Viola lessons are personalized to meet your interests. We combine our viola instructions with basics of music theory. You will learn to read, write and properly interpret music along with studying viola.
We teach our viola students using a combination of major teaching methods including Sassmannshaus, Suzuki and Traditional technique. We also offer Scottish, Irish, Country and Jazz viola lessons. We tailor the methodology to student's personality and goals. We focus on developing the skills that are more stimulating to each student and strive to make our lessons fun and exctiting experience for each stduent.
Our instructors are professionals in their field and teach a variety of different styles of music such as pop, rock, Disney, Broadway, musical theatre, soul, jazz, Christian, and classical.
Viola lessons are offered in 30, 45, 60 minute/week installments for students ages 4 - adult. Our viola lessons are scheudled by appointment and can be initiated all year round based on QCMS Viola Instructor's availability.
Students that request viola lessons are welcome to use their own instrument if available or rent one.
